Founded in 1945 as "Nanatanigawa Sawmill," we have been working with wood for 80 years. As the times have changed, so have we — adapting our business model through trial and error to better serve the needs of our customers.

Looking back at human history, we have reshaped the earth to suit our own convenience, always striving for "greater ease and comfort." Perhaps this has been no more than a small, humble resistance against the forces of the universe. And yet, out of this striving, humanity has built what we call civilization.

However, this civilization, which has pressed relentlessly forward, now finds itself at a point of maturity — a moment that calls us to reconsider the direction of our next steps. This is due, in part, to the fact that the environmental impact of manufacturing and development driven by scientific advancement has exceeded the planet's capacity, and in part, because we are beginning to notice the spiritual void that has quietly grown alongside that progress.
